Join James Kline and J.A Alison as we make our way through the Pet Sematary.
First, we talk quick thoughts on the movie plus being a book fan.
Then we go into our weekly History Segment where we talk about what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal music for the release date for Pet Sematary April 21, 1989.
In Pro Wrestling, we talk about 2 WWF shows, one tv taping and one house show, we talk about both cards and which cards we would have attended and the difference between tv and live shows at this time period. Thoughts on both cards, who we like and what main event we just had to see.
In metal music we talk about the legendary band The Ramones and their Album “Brain Drain”. We talk back history of the Ramones, we talk about DEE DEE Ramone leaving the band and becoming DEE DDE King. Lots of talk on the song they did for Pet Sematary, Pet Sematary. We talk about the supposed backstory to the song and how this helped Ramones become a bigger band than they were, and we talk on how hardcore fans are when their favorite bands become mainstream.
Then we talk Who book this shit.
We talk Stephen Kings book.
The story of how Pet Sematary came to life. How the writers' strike helped make this movie be green lit.
We talked about director Mary Lambert and how she came on board and where the movie was filmed and the cast.
Then we get into the full review of Pet Sematary, we talk Judd being a great character and him freaking out. Louise not listen and being a hurt father. Casper the Friendly Victor Pascow ghost. Foreshadowing and how this movie did it great and so much more.
