Retro Blood 87: Blue Monkey

Welcome back to the Retro Bloods BUGS GONE WILD month. We continue the month of June with full reviews of Bugs in 1980s Horror movies. Up next if you like slimy white glowing green bugs that take over your body similar to Aliens with LAZIER ROOMS!!! Then this is the review for you because Retro Blood is talking all about “Blue Monkey”. 

Join James and J.A Alison as we grab so bug samples and get lock down by the Lincoln Institute for disease prevention. 

We start off by trying to figure out why this movie was called Blue Monkey with no Blue monkey. 

Then we get into our weekly History Segment where we talk about what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal around the movie release date March 31, 1988. 

In Pro Wrestling we talk a bit about The Iron Sheik who recently pass away. We talk our thoughts on the Sheik and we talk his career through the 1980s with his big feuds and big moments.  

 In Metal we talk about Iron Maiden and their ep that came out on March 20, 1988 for Can I play with Madness. We talk Maiden at this time period and in rare moment James has heard Iron Maiden songs that Alison has not.  

Then we get in Who Book this Shit!! 

We talked about Director William Fruet and what he has done.  

We talked about this movie being a part of a 3-movie deal with RCA-Columbia and talk the other 2 movies. 

We talk about why this movie wasn’t called “Green Monkey”. 

We talk about Sandy Howard, the writer getting infused by “Aliens”.  

We do talk about some of the cast and what they done in Horror Movies.  

Then we get into the full review with a medical Clinic inside an old Insane Asylum. LAZIER ROOMS!! Roger being a useless correct owner. Jim and his dad skills and of course big slimy BUGSSS. 

So, grab your Pregnant wife and rush her to the hospital after you done some google doctoring and listen up to The Retro Blood review of “Blue Monkey”.
