Welcome back to the Retro Blood as we continue our reviews of Corn Fields and Scarecrows in Horror movies in the 1980’s. Up next, we turn on the TV for a made for TV horror movie, Dark night of the Scarecrow.
Join James Kline and J.A Alison as we talk all about Bubba the Scarecrow. First, we talk made for TV horror and what that is.
Then in our Weekly History Segment of what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal Music during the release date of this film October 21, 1981.
In Pro Wrestling we talk a WWF Championship show that aired the same night as Dark night of the Scarecrow and we compare the 18-34 numbers kind of. Full match compared and what show we would have watch that night.
We talk a match between Bob Backlund and Valentine for the WWF belt that the referee declared Valentine the winner by ancient. We talk botches in Wrestling and how they would have handle that today compared by the 80’s.
The we talk in metal An English Metal band “Demon” and their Album “Night of the Demon”.
We talk some of the tracks off the album and the style of music they are. James plays a clip for Alison on Air.
Then we talk a little of the production of Dark night of the Scarecrow with Director: Frank De Felitta and we talk J.D. Feigelson and his original vision to make this an independent film till CVS TV bought it. We talk how fast James would sell out if a TV station bought his horror movie idea.
Then we get to the full review with, Bubba the Scarecrow, Otis Hazelrigg the evil Mail man, James screwing up the name Philby, Skeeter and his crying, Marylee and her seeing visions the kills and the story of the whole film and much more.

Welcome Back to the Retro Blood month of Corn Fields and Scare Crows in Horror Movies. Up Next if you like Swat team criminals taking airplanes and get killed by Scarecrows this is the review for you!!Because Retro Blood is review “ScareCrows”.Join James Kline & J.A Alison as we take a stroll through the night and get trick by scarecrows.Up First we talk about.....BEER and how weird November is. In our Weekley History Segment we talk what was going on  in Pro Wrestling and Metal music on the Release date of Scarecrows September 28, 1988.  In Pro Wrestling we talk a WCW show in Atlanta with the main event being Lex Luger vr Ric Flair which ended of course in a DQ. We talk also how smart fans would react to DQ booking in the 80’s. We talk how house shows back then can get away with band finishes.Then in Metal music there was a ton going on and we talk the band Anthrax and their Album “State of Euphoria” and their live experience and who they were on tour with around this time frame. We also talk a 6-day loop in Texas with the Bands Judas Priest and Cinderella. Then we talk a little Production on Scarecrows and news on the director William Wesley Linkin Profile. We also talk Teb Vernon (Corbin) paying $150,000 to produce this movie and having heat with Welsey for not giving him enough lines. A crazy Airplane Story with Welsey and a Cinematographer who would go to work on Hellraiser. Then we start over full review scene by scene with Curry and his witty comebacks, talking over the radio and it sounded like metal gear solid. We talk Scarecrows and reusing the same shot. We talk did Burt (yes, another one) really eat the money??  A teeth scarecrow?? Welcome to a new month with the Retro Blood and we are staring off this new November month HOTT!!
We are starting off this month with a theme talking all about, Corn Fields and Scarecrows in horror movies starting off with Stephen Kings Children of the Corn.
Join James Kline and J.A Alison as we visit Gatlin Nebraska and fight our way through some crazy kids.
We start off the review with our History Segment talking what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal Music around the release date of Children of the Corn March 9, 1984.
In Pro Wrestling we talk a a show from St Louis with 10,752 fans in attendance to witness, Wahoo McDaniel VR Harley Race FOR THE NWA Missouri Heavyweight Championship. We also talk the main even NWA World Champ Ric Flair vr Bruiser Brody.....spoilers ahead on match results.
In Metal we have a big Discission on the Band “RATT” yes with two T’s.  We talk some History of the band we talk their Album “Out of the Cellar”. James Kline explain why he loves this band and explains some of their muisc videos.
Then we talk a little History on Children of the Corn with Alison Explaining the Books story-line and how it’s a little different from the movie.  Filming of the movie and what Stephan Kings original idea was.
Then we get into the full review with James Kline screwing up Job name and Burt's name for half the review Calling him Pete. We Isaac and his weird voice, Malachai the angry red head, Burt trying to reason with crazy religious corn kids and of course THE BIG RED CLOUD and more.

That’s right Retro Blood unfortunately is reviewing “TRICK OR TREATS”.Join James Kline and J.A. Alison as we talk all about this Something of a movie.We talk quick thoughts on Trick or treats and why we pick this movie in the first place. We talk Halloween 3 coming out a week before this movie and debate which movie we would of like best (take one guess).We go into our history segment talking all about the release date October 29, 1982.In pro wrestling we talk Riki Choshu turning on Antonio and the formation on Choshu group “Seikigun” here James and Alison screw up the name of the group.In Metal we talk very little on the The Who and their single “Athena”.Then we talk about Accept and their Album Restless and Wild. We talk what type of thrash this is and what songs James likes the best.Then we get into some notes about Trick or Treats we talk Gary Graver and his cinema hits. Alison talks meeting David Carradine and try to figure out why he was even on this movie in the first place.Then we get into the full movie review with MALCOLM and his weird screaming, Linda and how easy it is to scare her... very easy btw. We talk, Christopher and we play a drinking game of how many times he tricks Linda and his swerve at the end?? Brett and Richard and try to figure out why they were in this movie for no reason and of course editors being the best part of movies being made.So put on your favorite nurse outfit and find a pay phone and call up all your friends and tell them to listen to the retro blood review of “Trick or Treats”.

Welcome Back to Retro Bloods Anniversary month as we continue along with our month-long review of all the Halloween movies from the 1980’s. Up next, we return to Haddonfield with Halloween 4 The return of Michael Myers. 
Join James Kline and J.A Alison as we talk all about Michael Myers return to the big screen.  
We talk in our weekly History segment on what was happening in metal and Pro Wrestling around the release date of Halloween 4 October 12, 1988. 
In metal we talk a couple different bands and their albums they released. We start with Quiet Riot and their album “QR” which was released on the day Halloween came out. We talk some on the tracks and their singer and are thoughts on the band themselves. Then we talk Soundgarden first Album “Ultramega Ok” and Alison story meeting Chris Cornial and how Grudge will Kill out the Hair Bands.  
In Pro Wrestling, we talk a WWF house show From Saint Paul, Minnesota. We talk Retro Blood main man Ron Bass, we talk how Great Mr. Perfect Curt Henning was, Big beefy men pounding meat, and of course Hulk Hogan brother. 
Then we get into some of the production notes on Halloween 4 with Akkad buying the rights From Debra and John. How Akkad wanted to make this a simple Halloween film and how the writer Alan B McElroy had to write the script in 11 days before the writers' strike.  
Then we get into the full review of Halloween 4 with thoughts on Loomis book 6 Shoots, How Lorie was written off the movie, The start of  the Throne Storyline, Kelly and her being Hot, and much much more.

In Pro Wrestling, we do a character profile on a legend that recently Pass away “Antion Inoki”. We talk birth, matches, Inoki wrestling styles, famous matches and some matches he did in the 1980’s and some of his political career.
Then we talk some production notes on Halloween 3, we talk how this movie did at the box office and how this movie compared to the other Halloween movies. We talk how they got John and Debra back to produce this film. The idea that the Halloween franchise was going to be an anthology series. We talk about the original writer on Halloween 3 Nigel Kneale and why he left. We talk Tommy Lee Wallace and how he got the job. We talk how the audience response to Halloween 3.
Then we get to our Scene-by-scene review with Dr. Dan Challis Doctor by day Playboy by night, Ellie and he real mission in Halloween 3!! CONAL COCHRAN and him being a Scooby Doo Villain and so much more.

Welcome to the Retro Blood anniversary Month! Join us as we kick off our anniversary October month as only Retro Blood does with a full Review of the Halloween movies (That were made in the 1980’s). First up we talk all about “Halloween 2”.  
Join James Kline and J.A Alison as we talk all about Halloween 2 and the love and hate we have for this movie and of course the start of Dr. Loomis going mad!! 
First, we talk our history segment of what was happening in Metal and Pro Wrestling around the release date of Halloween 2 October 30, 1981. 
In Metal we talk RUSH and their Live album “Exit stage Left”. We talk the album and the old rush music sound. We talk also how bands use to recorded live album back in the 1980’s.  
We talk a little about the Misfits “Halloween track” released Oct 31, 1981.  
In Pro Wrestling we talk a match that happened on Oct 30, 1981 between Perro Aguayo Vr FISHMAN for the WWF light Heavyweight title.  
We try to figure out who Fishman was and do some live research on him. 
We also talk about Georgia Championship show from Oct 31,1981 and all the returns and about Georgia being a hot territory.  
Then we get into production notes on Halloween 2. Talk on Carpenter not wanting to do the movie and Irwins lawsuit, we talk box office success with Halloween 2. We talk about some ideas that weren't used in Halloween 2. We also, talk on The Halloween2 murders trail.  
Then we do a full review of Halloween 2 with 6-time Loomis, Ben wanting to get it on, Jimmy and what a weak death spot he got and Laurie and her finding all about the shape and who he was.
