Then we talk some production Notes on LifeForce. We talk, the director Tobe Hooper and how he got this gig and what movies he has done before. Talk on Dan O’ Bannon and what movies he has wrote before. Talk on Patrick Stewart being in this movie.We talk Colin Wilson “Vampires in Space” and how it relates to LifeForce. We talk, why Cannon Films called it “Lifeforce” and how much money they spent and lost on the movie. J.A Alison talks what is Quatermass.
We talk, Hooper thoughts on the movie and Wilson thoughts on the movie and oh yeah Billy Idol was pitch to be in this movie.

Welcome back to the Retro Blood Sci-fi month up next if you like video sex, snuff films and new Flesh this is the review for you because Retro Blood is talking all about “Videodrome”. 
Join James Kline and J.A Alison as we talk all about Videodrome. We talk, UHF broadcasting and what it is, thoughts on the meaning of Videodrome.

Then we talk some backstory on Videodrome and talk on the Director David Croneberg. His passion project and how he came up with Videodrome and has body horror style movie. We talk, the short stories “Network of Blood”. We talk Croneberg turning down Return of the Jedi and how crazy that is. We talk, Actor James woods and his character Max and Videodrome and a Christmas story Tying in a movie award category.

In Pro Wrestling we talk, all about the star of "They live" "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. We talk his career from his early days and his training with Gene Lebell. His time in AWA , NWA and NWA Hollywood and his time in Crockett. We talk some of his time in WWF till he made "They Live".
In Metal, we talk the band DEATH and their album "Leprosy" we talk the album plus the singer Chuck Schuldiner and his fight to get musician health care.
Then we talk production notes on they live, John Carpenter and how he meet Piper. The story they live is base on "Eight O"Clock" and Invasion of the body Snatchers.
Then we get into the full review of "They Live" with NADA, Glasses that can show you the truth, Great one liners, Slim face and of course BUBBLE GUM.

Retro Blood 47: The Thing

Welcome to the Retro Blood Sci-fi Horror month. Join James Kline and J.A Alison as we start off this month Hot with Slime demons creature that turns into a bigger slimmer creature and Kurt Russel Frozen beard because we are starting of with John Carpenter "The Thing".
First we talk John love of this movie and the New Retro Blood website and YouTube channel.
Then we talk in our History Segment on what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal on the release date of "The Thing" June 25, 1982. 
In Metal we talk, MANOWAR and their first Album "Battle Hymns". We talk the song tracks, and their style of music.
In Pro Wrestling we talk, Ric Flair vr Dusty Rhodes in a Bunk House match and we discuss what a Bunk House match is.
Then we get into some Production notes on "The Thing".
How the story is base on "The thing from Another world" story, Different writers and producers on the project, we talk how the story is also base on the Who Goes there story, How John Carpenter got involved and how he almost left the production mid way through. We also talk on who was consider to play R. J. Macready.
Then we do our full scene by scene review with Macready and just trying to drink the whole movie, Slime and bigger slime creatures, not trusting anybody, flamethrowers everywhere and of course "GET ME OFF THIS FUCKING COUCH"!!!!.

Welcome back to the Retro Blood Slizzie Slasher month! If you like Spanish gods, Tits, saws and swerves this is the review for you because Retro Blood is finishing up Slizzie Slasher month with "Bloody Moon" aka "The Saw of Death".

Welcome back to the Retro Blood Slizzy Slasher month up next! If you like negative looking video shots,kids talking over each other, home video movies, a guy with no shirt and muscles and a shazam horror movie monster this is the review for you because Retro blood is talking all about "Sledgehammer".
Join James Kline and J.A. Alison as we fire up the old camcorder and talk all about "Sledgehammer" and what was going on around the Pro Wrestling and Meta scene at the time of the this movie release date.
So, Sledgehammer didn't have a official release at least we couldn't find one so we deiced to talk about August 1983.
We talk, Metal and the band Black Sabbath and their Album "Born Again" release Aug 7, 1983.  We talk the one time vocalist Ian Gillan. Talk, how this album was influential on other bands. Some back stories on the album also. Spinal tap talk as well.
In Pro Wrestling we talk, a Candida television championship match and the winner Mike Rotunda and talk on Rotunda career.
We talk a match between Ric Flair and Harley race two out of three Falls for the Missouri Championship!
Then we get into some backstory on Sledgehammer with talk on the director David A. Prior, The Shot on Video style of the film and the supposed budget of the film.

Jim Crockett ran in Greensboro with a main event of Bob Orton Jr vr Rick Flair in a cage match.

Welcome to Retro Blood month of sleaze slasher films. Up first we dial up a special computer and sharpen up our one axe because the Retro Blood is talking all about "Edge of the Axe".
Move over Michael Myers we have a new killer in town.
Join James Kline and J.A Alison as we talk, In our History Segment the release date of this film September 15, 1989.
In Pro Wrestling we talk, dueling wrestling house shows from WWF and NWA-WCW with main events of Hulk Hogan vr Macho Man and Ric Flair vr Dick Slater in a Texas Death match.
We talk results of each match and a weird Ron Garvin and Bob Orton story. We discus which house show we would have attended on this nigh.
Then in Metal Music we talk Swiss metal Band "Coroner" and their Album "No more Colors" we talk the album and the history of the band.
