Welcome everyone back to the Retro Blood podcast with our month long review of different Folk Horror movie review. On today's list is the 1983 Folk Horror Movie "Eyes of Fire".
Join James Cline and J.A Alison as we take a deep dive into the "Eyes of Fire" movie with a full breakdown and what was happening around the release date of "Eyes of fire", Oct 21, 1983 in Metal Music and Pro Wrestling.

Welcome to the month of Folk Horror here on the Retro Blood.
Yes for the entire month of March J.A Alison and James Cline are talking all about different Folk Tales Horror Movies.
First up is the 1989 "Pumpkin Head".
We talk Both release dates of Pumpkin Head, October 14, 1988 and January 13,1989.
For October 14 , 1988 we talk a little bit about Singer Kobra Paige and her doing vocals for Kamelot on tour. 
For January 13, 1989 we talk in Metal a surprise to James Cline and J.A Alison a 80's band Meshuggah ep Album was release.
We talk Exodus and their Album "Fabulous Disaster" and some background on the band. We also talk Metallica single "ONE" and Alison background on the single.
Then we get into the Pro Wrestling History with a bunch of WWF shows Leading up to the First Royal Rumble Pay per view. We talk background on the rumble and the Tv rumble match.
Then we get into the Dark foggy Forest with a full review of PUMPKIN HEAD. We talk the poem that inspired Pumpkin Head by Ed Justin with James Cline reading the entire poem. The 1995 video games that is a rip off of DOOM. Then we get into ED HARLY the great Lance Henriksen. Joel being a ass, Steve and his weird style of talking. HAGGIS!!!! and of course the Pumpkin Head demon and how great the creature looked. Welcome to a very special Valentines Day edition of the Retro Blood we have all your favorite Heart shape candy boxes with as we bring to you "My Bloody Valentine".
Ja Alison and James Cline talk all about My Bloody Valentine and the release date of the movie February 11, 1981 and what was happening in the world of Metal and Pro wrestling around this time.

In Pro Wrestling, we have a huge Valentines day card from the AWA headlined by Hulk Hogan. We also talk Hulk Hogan rise in AWA and how he brought his Gimmick to WWE.

James Cline talks about one of his favorite love triangle story lines in 80's WWF with the feud with Rick Rude vr Jake Roberts and Jakes wife. JC and JA also pick out their favorite 1980's Love song and play a little of the songs for you.
Then we get into some upside down hearts and gas mask suites with a full review of My Bloody Valentine. We talk, the love triangle between Tj, AXE and Sarah. We talk this freakin awesome bar tender and why he was the best in this movie. We talk Valentines day dances. Also our thoughts on why this movie is the perfect date movie.

Retro Blood 16: Mountaintop Motel Massacre.

Greetings all from highway 71 pass a fallen tree into some log cabins that only cost $7 for the nigh! Welcome to the Retro Blood and welcome to our review of Mountaintop Motel Massacre.
This review will finish up J.A Alison and James Clines month long stay at different Horror movie hotels and we are going out with a bang.
We talk, all about what was happing in the Metal Scene and Pro Wrestling Scene around one of the release dates of this movie. March 14,1986.
We also talk the other release dates of MTMM which are July 15,1983 and December 14, 1984.
In Pro Wrestling we talk, "TNT" no not Dynamite but a Tuesday Night Titans episode from March 14, 1986. We explain what is TNT and the backstory of this weird talk show with a young Vince McMahon. We hear from the Funk Brothers, Smoking Joe Frazer, Roddy Piper, a fantastic Jake Roberts segment and Ricky Steamboat plus Big John Sub. All with thoughts about the up coming WrestleMania 2.
Then in Metal James Cline and J.A Alison talk all about Metallica and their record Master of Puppets release March 3,1986. We Talk about the love of Metallica and when we both heard Metallica for the first time. The bands who have been influence by Metallica and the legacy that is Metallica.

James also tells a new story of a Haunted Hotel he stayed in while visiting San Antonio Texas.
