Up next, if you like sack Jason and camp counselor trying to have some sex this is the review for you because Retro Blood is talking all about “Friday the 13th part 2”.
   Join James and J.A Alison as we get drunk ass at the casino bar then fight for our lives against a hooded killer.
 We talked first about our love for Friday, the 13 parts 2 and Hood Jason.
 Then we get into our weekly History Segment where we talk about what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal around the movie release date May 1, 1981.
In Pro Wrestling James Kline reviews a WWF Wrestling challenge show from May 1, 1981. James explains why this show was super boring.
 In Metal Alison tells us about the Ozzy tour happening at this time.

Welcome back to The Retro Blood as we Begin our Annual Halloween month long reviews starting in September with the entire 1980s Friday the 13th movies. Up first, we talk were it all begin with the very first Friday the 13th with Kevin Beacon getting it on and Crazy mothers!!
  Join James and J.A Alison as we get jobs at Camp blood and play some strip monopoly brother!!
 We talk first about the Friday the 13th series and how old we were in life when the first movie came out. We discussed how we watched this movie and talked about Shout Factory 4k set.
 Then we get into our weekly History Segment where we talk about what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal around the movie release date May 9, 1980.
In Pro Wrestling we talk all about The WWWF lightweight champ and Dragon Fever running wild in Japan with Tatsumi Fujinami. We talked about what match he had on that night and the background of the wrestling star.
 In Metal we talk about Van Halen tour and their album “Women and Children First”. We talk about Van Helen during this time in the 1980s and how big they were. Alison also talks what he favorite Van Helna era was.
 Then we get into Who book this Shit!!
We talked about how Sean S, Cunningham got the idea for Friday the 13th and what he has done in movies besides Friday the 13th.
We talked about the writer Victor Miller and him not wanting Jason in the movie.
We talked about how the original Halloween Influenced Friday the 13th .
We talked about the budget and how much this movie made in only two weeks before Empire strikes back was release in theaters.
We talk about the logo and legal battle with the Friday the 13th trademark.
We talked about the original title long night at camp blood.
And of course, our boy Kevin Beacon aka Jack.
Then we get into the full review of Friday the 13th with Steve and him barely doing anything in the movie. First person view. The plot trying to trick us to who the killer is. The first time we see on screen or at least we think it was of the Waring crazy guy character and of course we try to figure out if Mrs. Pamela Voorhees had strong powers like Jason would have because she throws dead bobbies up trees and through windows with no problem at all with a nice sweater on.
So, get out there and hick hike around town to get to a curse camp and hope you want to get killed and listen up to the Retro Blood full review of the original Friday the 13th.

James and Alison as two fans of Wyatt talk his career and who he changed WWE and stood out as a very unique Character in a cookie cutter business. We talk our favorite memorizes of Wyatt career and favorite matches and quotes. James also explains how Bray Wyatt as inspired him and help him be more creative.

  Join James and J.A Alison as we get on a boat because we were paid by a weird blond and get killed on a Zombi Demon Island.
 We talk first about our quick thoughts on Zombi 4 and what they rip off and some news on what new in the Retro Blood universe.

In Pro Wrestling we talk all about the late Terry Funk who passed away Wednesday August 23, 2023. We talked about his career and how legendary his career was. The over 5 decades he wrestle and our memories of the man.
In Metal we talk about the Soundtrack to Zombi 4 written by Al Festa. James Kline talks about the main song of this movie and why he loved it.
 Then we get into Who book this Shit!!
We talked about Claudio Fragasso coming back to the Philippines and him not getting any sleep for 2 weeks probably jacked up on Cocaine and probably our boy Stryker.

Then we get into the full review of “ZOMBI 3” with Ken and Roger becoming Action heroes and how James and Alison think this movie ties into Strike Commando 2. We talk Dr. Harold over acting. We explain the Zombie head in a fridge scene. We ask why blue heart was in this movie and how it reminds us of Return of the living dead instead of zombi 2 or Dawn of the dead.

Up next if you like Voodoo, Naked Scuba Diving, Eyeball kills and Island full of Zombies this is the review for you because Retro Blood is talking all about “ZOMBIE 2”.
  Join James and J.A Alison as we rip all of our clothes off and dive with sharks and zombies' brother.
We talk first about what theater in America in 1980 would have shown Zombie/ Zombie 2. We talk about there being a ton of Zombie movies in the 1980s.
 Then we get into our weekly History Segment where we talk about what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal around the movie release date July 18, 1980.
In Pro Wrestling we talk an AWA title match with Nick Bockwinkel l vr Verne Gagne and Vern Gagne winning the belt after Bockwinkel 5-year reign. James Explains what led up to this match and Bockwinkel surprising opponents during his 5-year reign. We also talk about what happened after this match also.
In Metal we talk about the band “Budgie” and their EP “If swallowed, do not induce Vomiting”. Alison explains the band's history and how they influenced bands like Slayer and Metallica.
Then we get into Who book this Shit!!
We talk about Lucio Fulci and what he has done and the movies he did the “Gates of Hell Trilogy” which you can find full reviews on our archived episodes.
We talked about Dardano Sacchetti screen play and him wanting to make a traditional zombie movie.
We talk Angelis and how he wanted to make this movie a sequel to Dawn of the Dead.
We talk the working title Nightmare Iland.
We talk about the Shark Scene and Fulci not knowing about it being filmed.
We also talk about the score to this movie Fabio Fizzi.
Then we get into the full review of “ZOMBI 2” with Peter and him wanting some, Anne trying to find her dad but found love. Crazy awesome death scenes. The shark scene in detail. Why Kline and Alison loved this plot and storytelling with the zombies.

In Metal we talk about the Soundtrack to Return of the living Dead Part 2 with guest appears by Julian Cope, Leatherwolf and Anthrax!!
Then we get into Who book this Shit!!
We talk some on the Director Ken Wiederhorn and what he has done in TV and films.
We talked about Tom Fox wanting to make Return of the living dead a Franchise series.

Then we get into the full review of “Return of the Living Dead Part 2” with dumb jokes and badly written characters. We talked about the kid being the smartest character in the movie. We talk about this movie doing the same scenes but shitter than the first movie. We try to figure out if this movie is supposed to be a dream or in a different town than the first movie still no to sure.

We talk first about some quick thoughts on Oprea and if Alison has seen an Opera before. 
 Then we get into our weekly History Segment where we talk about what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal around the movie release date December 19, 1987.

We talked about Dario Argento and how he came up with the idea of Opera from a failed play of Macbeth he tried to make.  
We talked about The Macbeth play curse. (Our podcast becomes cursed also after we brought this up with Mic problems and echos throughout the review).  
We talk about the Character Marco being written like Dario himself.  
We talked about how the pins under the eye's idea came to be.  
We talk about the recasting of the original Opera singer in this movie.   
We talked about Daria Nicolodi Coming back to Darios film and we explained the reason why.

Plot twist with fan boy cops. Marco the play director and his women and us comparing him to Argento though the movie. We talked about the ending and how it was different in America and James Kline gives his idea for a sequel to Opera also.
